Oukitel, Ulefone, Doogee... I'd much rather get a phone in the UK with a decent warranty.

One of the weakest points of these brands the camera, so dont expect any good... The beat all of these the xiaomi so buy that imho. Or an asus zenfone 2 ze551ml. Decent cam good screen low price...

Xiaomi accept rooted phones during warranty period...

I've just sold one and replaced with a xiaomi redmi note 4. it was a decent phone, very heavy, poor camera, good battery life. lack of cases and screen protectors available, usb port is very deep, upside down and feels loose. I'd get the xiaomi myself, only problem with that is video playback slows to a stutter with stock firmware but still better imho.

I bought a umi max 3gb ram device off of a UK seller on eBay. brand new. absolutely love it. no problems at all great phone 105 quid too bargain

Buy a Xiaomi, they do security and OS support for years; you have the option to take
"Stable" (usually monthly to quarterly updates)
"Beta" (usually weekly updates)
"Developer" (nightly updates, but you really have to know what you are doing).

My oldest Xiaomi is now nearly 4 years old, the battery is still pretty good, and they still update it regularly. It has however, been relegated to media centre and games usage for my 4 y/o.

I have had two Umi's, one was broken out of the box (no GPS), and the other broke within 30 minutes of unboxing. Support was terrible, it took over 6 months to get the replacement from them - which is why I ended up buying my first Xiaomi.
