Phone Contact wanted

Hi all.

I need a decent phone contract, for £20 per month ish or less...

Preferably only a 12 month contract as well...

Any chance of me getting an xbox 360 premium with it as well?

I'm not too fussed about the minutes or texts, around 200 texts and 20 minutes a month would do me (im not sure wether thats alot or not, i've never had a contract before)

Main reason is my phone is broke and I spend £10 a month on it any way to get 300 texts which I dont use - and i also want a 360 so I thought there might be a decent deal for a contract available.

Something with a decent camera would also be nice, too.

Any info would be great, I wouldnt know whats a good/bad deal.

Thanks.

If you don't mind claiming cashback, www.mobiles2yourdoor.co.uk have a couple of 12 month deals on lower end phones that work out at about £5 a month but no free gifts. I've had cashbacks from them and they seem OK (part of phones4you group). Not much else around at present - seems like recession has hit the mobile deals. :-(

You pay full line rental but then send off claims (usually 6th, 8th, 10th and 12th bills) and get reimbursed by company who sold you phone (not Network operator).

Only danger usually is that they might go bust before you get all (or any) of your money back and you're still stuck with network contract. Probably not a serious risk with the bigger operators (Carphone Warehouse, Phones4You and subsidiaries) although who knows nowadays?

Hi, I have done cashback deals for the last four years making my phone sometimes as low as £4.99 per month on orange after the cashback has been received. At the moment I am with phones4u and received another £70 cheque yesterday. I have had a cheque every two months since april and also an automatice cashback at the start of the contract in December 2007. They are very good as they send the next claim form with the cheque and as the claim takes up to 4 weeks to process when I received my cheque yesterday the next claim form is dated 21st October and you have up to 60 days to make a claim. My bill always arrives about the8th of the month so I have just kept the claim form to one side until the bill arrives and then get it ready to post and don't post it until after the 21st. I do usually put a reminder on my calendar and haven't failed yet (prob will now!!) With one of the others they just left it for you to remember so I always wrote a number on the bill when it arrived as to which month in the contract I was in ie. month 1 ,2, 3, 4 etc. and I knew that I had to claim in months 4 8 and 12. If you can get organised and tell yourself that you won't be beaten by the phone companies, it can work well.

Good Luck

This site is the best i've found for comparing phone deals.

http://www.contractmobilephoneshop.co.uk/

p.s. don't forget to check for quidco cashback as well!
(Mobiles2YourDoor £45, Phones4u £50 etc...)

Try http://www.e2save.com/ or http://www.onestopphoneshop.co.uk/

I've managed to get 12 month contracts for 12 months free from e2save. Their cashback is really easy and I haven't had any problems with them at all.

I've used e2save in the past and I have also had no problems.
