Phone Contract

Hello,

My phone contract is due to run out next month, and am after a better deal. Need about 300 minutes and 400 texts, currently paying £35 for 100 minutes and 500 texts. Looking to pay as little as possible.

Has anyone had any dealing with the Onestophponeshop that give you the money back, to make it almost a free contract? Is this real, or too good to be true?! Can you keep the same number with this?

Thanks for your help!

I phoned up Orange retentions, as i was on PAYG, and they gave me 600 mins and Unlimited texts for £17 a month, with a free K850i

I've used Onestopphoneshop many a time. Aslong as you follow the instructions then yeah you get all the money back! It felt good as it felt like I was investing and then getting payouts all the time haha.
But ultimately the best thing to do is to get banter with your current provider and make them give you a damn good deal like peodude got! nice work!
My friend got the N95 8GB with 500 mins and unlimited texts for £25 a month (18 month). A pretty good deal considering the calibre of the phone. There are deals to be had, just have to work for it!

This is always the case. I don't even bother talking to the first person you get put through to. Just ask to speak to retentions as soon as they pick up the phone. Retentions are the people with the power to do deals. I also looked at cashback deals and used the average monthly price of those to barter my new deal. I am with O2 and got a free K850i, ten pounds off the monthly charge and the contract period reduced to 12 months with this method.

If the person you are speaking to will not do the deal you want, hang up and try again, the next one might. You need to speak to the one who's desperate to get some deals in. Always get the name and direct number of the good phone person and promise them that you'll point all your mates to them so they get the commission. Doesn't matter if you don't they'll still probably give you a better deal.

Vodaphone quidco is at £100 at the moment. I'm trying to sort out two new contracts at the moment - or at least come up with something to make O2 offer me a better deal... they're trying all this "cashback isn't comparable' ****...

I want two new phones, a PS3 and cash credit of around £120 and all on 12 months.. not unreasonable!

The mix and match 1100 is on Promotional Offer atm, making it £20 a month not £27 a month - http://threestore.three.co.uk/mixnmatchtariff.aspx?tariff=0
