Just got a deal with talk talk, the cheapest I could find @ £22.50 pm all in......thats for fibre unlimited.... the sky offer was as cheap but capped and I stream and download a lot......

Also talk talk include a free sim , not much on it but I am a light user,,, 200 mins talk , unLtd texts and 500mb of data..... so cancelled my current provider and saved £15 pm, so getting unLtd fibre for £7.50 pm :)

Because you have a cheaper mobile sim, it doesn't mean you have a discount on your broadband. It's still £22.50.
Think you're trying to convince yourself that TalkTalk is a good deal.

BT deal with TV and broadband, or without TV gets you good quidco cash back and a prepaid MasterCard, up to £75. works out pretty cheap once it's all cleared, between £110 to £160 a year Inc line rental

SSE have been doing 18mths fibre broadband at £21/mth. Also no router charge, and I don't think there's an activation charge if you have an active BT line already.

Many thanks for your responses. I am not a heavy downloaded but do stream so a decent speed would be required. Is the BT standard deal with 17 mpbs speed good enough for normal streaming online?

It would be IF you actually get 17mbps - the EE deal we're on is a similar "up to" speed. In reality we get a max of around 8mbps and it's not great (although we seem to keep getting micro-outages). But it should be enough if you are near enough your exchange (Use SamKnows to check how near you are)

We just switched and ended going with the equivalent of this deal before they included line rental cost in the cost rather than showing separately. It was £125 cashback from BT plus £101 from Topcashback and worked out around £14-15/mth after taking that out. This might work out slightly better (though I think add-on costs of activation are now higher)

UPDATE: IT does work out better, as little as £12.59pm equivalent- did the maths and posted here http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/245-95-cashback-total-cost-419-87-bt-fibre-infinity-1-52mbps-unlimited-for-12mths-2541185
