Hi can anybody pleeease help me, i know its short notice but I really want to go somewhere this weekend for the day (saturday) and perhaps stay over somewhere first on the Friday.

We live in the West Midlands area but anywhere within a couple of hour drive (no more than that really) and as cheap as you can get it !!

I have looked at Alton Towers n places like that but its coming to around the price of £200 which is a lot for a weekend. Theres 4 of us, 2 kids n 2 adults. Im looking for recommendations really , like if any of you has been anywhere n liked it for a reasonable price !! Im open to any ideas doesn't have to be a theme park and rep will be left for all. I don't want much do I !!

Thanks in advance :-)

I know but if you add meals, drinks , spending money on top of that it seems to add up loads (and we will be coming home on the Sat night cos I've got family over on Sunday !! ) x :)

Kids are 10 and 7 :)

Why not go to Chester Zoo, you can visit Cheshire Oaks outlet village at the same time. You can buy cheap tickets to the Zoo from there as well. You could stay at a travel lodge or Holiday Inn, both of these are close by. The weather is supposed to be dry this weekend so the Zoo would be good choice. Check out laterooms.com for hotel prices. Good luck

It doesn't have to be expensive in London, museums, open top tour bus, Buck Palace, House of P etc etc. Could be a busy cheap day.
