I just checked the cheese box and it turns out I am almost out of cheese.

Are there any extra mature Cheddar offers I can stock up on?

Hmmm... toasted sunflower bread roll with honey roasted ham and "Wensleydale with Cranberries". Yumm...

Awwwww... now the cheese box is empty. :(

Hmmm.... might give that a try.

I mostly eat cheese on sandwiches.

I usually try to buy Cathedral City or Pilgrims. They both taste pretty good and there usually are offers on one or the other, in one of the supermarkets.

Thanks!

Do you have a Netto local? They have Red Seal mature cheddar in 400g for under £4 on a bogof and I have just picked up some X rated cheese for adults only (must be really strong) 250g for 99p. If too tangy for sandwiches, will be great for cooking with.

Excellent, got a Netto up the road. Will check it out.

Thanks!

Sainsburys Gouda slices 240g down to £1 from £1.52. That's a good per kg price and no slicing required!

Gone through 2 packs of it so far. They are OK, very very mild. Good for the kids to have on sandwiches and I used some to mix in with the mashed potato - really need to go and buy some of that X rated cheese.

Should be OK to keep in the fridge for 3month, so might get some more. :-D

Bought some special offer "5 Counties" at Sainsburys' Delicatessen. Cheese for indecisive people, very nice actually. Very flavoursome when had in a sandwich.
