Please help me choose a new Digital Camera - up to £80 please ...

Hi there, I am looking for a new digital camera for my mum and the only specifications I have are that:

1) It needs to have a viewfinder (she has trouble using the screen in sunlight)
2) 'Point and Click' simplified functions to take half decent photos
3) Available to buy from Ebay or a Seller who is willing to post overseas to Spain

It's a shame that exclude electricals from their overseas delivery policy, as there appear to be a couple of good ones on offer there at the mo .

Any suggestions would be gratefully appreciated!

Without a doubt, in my opinion, the Canon Ixus range of digitial cameras are the best.

The Ixus 80 is in about the price range your talking about (if your luck on Ebay) but to be honest you'll be more than pleased with the performance of the Ixus 50 upwards, although don't think you can get this new any more.

I peronally have an Ixus 50 at home and use and Ixus 80 at work. The Ixus 50, which has "only" 5 megapixels regularly impresses friends with the quality of the photos - better than their higher pixel cameras from other brands and is a really good size too. Try not to get pixel envy, and go for a 10 megapixel camera for £80 from Lidl or Aldi - you will regret it!!! Go for a well respected brand and in my opion the Ixus. Both have good viewfinders too.

These cameras also look great.

Stock changes quite often, so ckeck back if what you fancy is't in stock.
Argos are selling an Hitachi 10 mega pixels with memory card and rechargeable battery and hard carry case fo just under £100.00 this also has a zoom lens Just the camera alone should have been £200.00 my sister bought 1 and i am imoressed it had also got the big screen at the back, and comes in black or pink.
