Anybody got any good leads or links to a nice i7 laptop.. Needs to be a quad core, with dedicated graphics and FullHD (1080P), looking for under £500 (UK spec and keyboard)

Do you seriously need a quad core i7 laptop? You could get a lot better graphics wise and just go for a dual core i5/i7 in that price range.
I suppose that is a good question.
As long as the performance on the 2 cores is fast, and the graphics card is fast, then maybe a dual core would be enough.. Do you have any suggestions?
Just there really aren't many quad i7s for laptops and the chance of them being with good graphics under £500 is slim. I would have thought that deal for the £440 Dell on here would be perfect, you won't get better for the price. Depends what you need it for.

I was hoping for a decent system for gaming really, Elite Dangerous coming up (beta already out there), not sure my current laptop can cope, and want full hd for photo editing etc..

For gaming a quad i7 at that price would be a very silly move, whatever graphics you could manage on that budget with the quad would be an immediate bottleneck. Best thing to do would be to search around for deals and then look at the gpu on notebookcheck.com
