Not sure which catagory this should go to:

Bought a Mario and Sonic at Olympics (wii) from them and it was dispatched on Tuesday 18 Dec. Still haven't received it yet today. Just wondering how long would it normally take if you have placed an order with them before. And where are the items dispatched from?

I have some item posted same day (tuesday) from Sendit which arrived 2 days ago. And And item from ChoicesUK posted a day after them (wednesday) and it arrived this morning.

I am just very concerned as I was hoping to play the game during xmas holiday...:(

I have ordered from these a couple of times before and always received the items quickly. Sound to me like they have been lost in the post? ( unless of course you live in the Scottish Highlands or somewhere else remote?!?? ) I have copied and pasted the following details from the powerplaydirect website, the unfortunate thing is it looks like they cannot look into it until you have allowed 21 days from date of dispatch!!

Who do you use for your deliveries and how long does delivery take?

All consignments are sent FREE of charge by UK Royal Mail, with in-stock items being despatched within 24 - 48 hours. Any sizeable or expensive items may be sent securely using a private courier where deemed neccessary and will require signature upon receipt.

If an item is out of stock it is ordered from our suppliers same day and is despatched as soon as it comes into stock. It is always possible an item will be out of stock or otherwise unavailable from our suppliers, in which case the despatch of the item will be affected by its availability from our suppliers.

Delivery can normally be expected within 3 - 5 working days from the date of despatch, however adverse weather conditions in the Channel Islands, routine customs & excise checks and/or Royal Mail delays can sometimes affect delivery times. Because of this we are unable to start tracing lost packets until 21 days have elapsed since the date of despatch. Please contact us if you haven't received your item after this time so we may investigate further. If an item proves to be lost in the post we will always send a replacement free of charge
all others delivered by royal mail as well.

I really hope it will arrive on Monday as there is no delivery tomorrow....

I posted the below back in July. I have to remind everyone once in a while:

"Powerplaydirect have sent me an unsealed, clearly used, even marked and scratched games TWICE this year. Once with The Sims Pets for PS2 and then again with Tron 2.0 for XBox.

They supposedly don't sell used/returned games. It's all meant to be brand new.

I'll never buy from them again."

They refunded me including my return postage to them but nothing to compensate at all. They claim I must have got a used/returned game 'in error' but twice within 3-4 months? Shoddy.
i bought a ps3 with 2 games and ordered a 3rd game,parcel arrived quick by courier but no 3rd game,emailed them 4 times with no reply and they have no contact number,i managed to find a number for them they said the box must of been mispacked so they sent me out a replacement which did arrive,number is 0870-600-7776
