Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good printer/scanner/photocopier for me to purchase. Not seen any deals for these in a while.

Not sure how much is needed to spend on one either, prab about £50-75ish? a half decent one would do but I would also like one that uses cheap replacement cartridges.

If anyone can help then I would greatly appreciate it :)

Cheers

Although hardware-wise, I consider HP to be superior, you are going to pay through the nose for original ink. I refill, but for those who would rather not you are almost certainly going to end up wanting an epson.

Epson have (at least) 2 low-end all-in-ones, I've spotted the DX4400 and the DX5000 (or 5050, cant seem to figure out what the correct model # is) - it appears that cheap ink is easier to get hold of for the 5000/5050, with the originals costing roughly £7 (note, separate colour cartridges)

Beware, though epson lie more than most about their print speeds, and the DX5050 has a reputation for being a bit of a tortoise. I suspect that this is as well as you're likely to do if you want cheap ink, however.

Editted to fix some of the usual 20,000 typos - apologies if you read it before I cleaned it up
