I bought an item from Currys online on 25th November 2016, Currys took my payment immediately, but they have not sent my item which had estimated delivery of 1st December. Several attempts to ring them and constantly on hold. Sent an email on 5th December and no response (their site says email response can take up to 72 hours) Their customer service is very very poor. Very frustrated as their is no online chat facility. Anyone know how I can actually contact Currys to find out when my order will be delivered? Thanks in advance.

You sure they had it in stock?? I just got my order 2 weeks after purchase, but they were good enough to tell me that it was going to be late a few days after the order went through, and to deliver it FOC on a Saturday - which most people charge extra for.

They had it in stock when I ordered it and said delivery on 1st December. Wish I ordered it with my Amazon Prime now.

Thanks for your suggestions I will give them a try. Can't believe it is so hard to actually talk to someone from such a big company.

Had so many problems with my laptop and did this. Emailed the CEO [email protected] and got a reply within hours. My complaint included damaged caused to my laptop during repair, and accused ME of causing the damage hence escalating to a new level. Worth it in the end as my complaint was dealt with quickly and professionally. I would avoid Knowhow customer service at all costs otherwise. they were completely useless and took 3 attempts to fix an issue with my laptop. 11 months into owning this laptop and it is finally working again properly.

I bought a laptop and it was so slow it was unbelievable, wouldn't normally buy from them but had vouchers and knew from old how bad they could be. So I didn't even bother to go in store emailed CEO team first and as you said quick response and offered to refund. Only issue I had was they told me to speak to Barry in store, there was a Barry but he hadn't spoke to them and you can imagine what I was thinking when he said that but still gave the refund no problem. If only first line of customer care could be that good.

I will use the CEO emails if I ever have major issues, only once did it not work and normally you get things sorted so much quicker.

I received a text message on Saturday confirming my delivery sunday. I waited in all day and no one turned up.
I called Currys CS Monday who didn't know why i'd received a text to confirm delivery. Still awaiting my £1200 TV...

I have found a freephone number for Currys customer service 0800 5878787 better than the 0344 number they give at 10p a minute on the mobile.
But still they still don't answer the phone. gggggrrrrrrrrrrrr:(

Had to contact them 2 nights ago.1st attempt hung up at 35 mins after being advised 15 mins wait.2nd attempt free phone no just laid phone beside me as I watched TV,result answered after 42 minutes.
