Hi
I have opened a new yahoo email address but I'm not receiving any of the emails sent to it? I know the emails are being sent to the correct email address, so don't understand what the problem could be? Has anyone else had problems? Or know what could be wrong ?
Thanks xx

No I'm not trying to add yahoo to outlook I am just logging in through the normal website, I have also tried adding the account to my iPhone and iPad mail app but still no emails, I have been waiting for a few different emails that have been send from other places but when nothing came I tried to send my self an email to check it was working, I just don't understand how it's not letting any emails go through xx
If you'd have used the REPLY button top right of message box I'd of known you had replied
So you sign in through webpage and can acess the yahoo account or are you using the Yahoo Messenger app?
and if you sign into your account (have access) try sending a test email from that account to the account
if your account is (yahooname)@yahoo.co.uk then from your account sent to (yahooname)@yahoo.co.uk and within 30 secs you should click the refresh inbox icon and the email should have arrivedI'm assuming you have authenticated the account?
Hi
I have tried both through the web page and also logged in through the app, I will try sending the email to the same account now, what do you have to do to authenticate the account? I've done the bit where you receive a text and put the number into it? Thanks for replying xx
I've done the bit where you receive a text and put the number into it
I'm sure that's authenticating it - it's been years since I started my yahoo account - it's my main (all my others are forwarded to yahoo)
Let me know how the test email via webpage login goes

How long has the account been set up for?

While unlikely, I assume that the emails haven't just gone to the spam/junk folder?

If a UK account, are you sending to @yahoo.com or @yahoo.co.uk?

Have you looked on the yahoo web page to ensure they are there. They should be. Have you configured both your e-mail client (outlook?) and the yahoo e-mail server correctly? One or both may require permissions and passwords.

when you reply I assume you are using Outlook to reply

And if yes which email account are you replying by?

I'm assuming you are trying to add you yahoo in Outlook and therefore attempting to use pop3 with your yahoo

Sorry but no idea. Have you tried Yahoo online help? Mines working fine (old btyahoo email account) on Firefox browser, and also as pop3 through my gmail account on my android devices. Don't see anything in the settings which would affect except off course wrong email account being viewed.

I gave up on yahoo when it randomly did not receive mail or send them out. Get a gmail account, much better.

I'm assuming you have authenticated the account?
