Will save up £400 in the next month to buy one.

Which one is better?

Hi, I'm sure everybody will recommend the pc but I've got to say the ps4, I like not having to worry about specs and optimising.

Self build pc will be more powerful and give more options but the ps4 will eventually have exclusive games that pc won't get like infamous so you really need to ask yourself what sort of gamer are you.

Oh and always go desktop not laptop for gaming that's my opinion as mobile gpu is alot weaker.

pc since it will have twice the better specs than ps4

I agree with the ps4. I have a high end gaming PC but find myself playing it less and less as there is always something to tinker with. maybe it is me just getting old but I just want some easy stress free gaming.

PS4 is the best option for its ease of use and integration of services. PC's can get fiddly as said above and for £400 the price/performance may not be worth it. I'm building a PC right now the components are expensive if you want good performance :/

PS4 simply because that's where my friends will be.... After playing the Alpha I have to say the menus are better suited to PC even though they work very well and intuitively on console. It's going to be a great game and great experience on either platform. Just get it on whichever will allow you to play with your friends.

really? build a pc which outperforms a ps4 for 350.

ps4 is actually better bang for buck than PC right now.

PlayStation 4: A PlayStation 4 is an ideal gaming platform. Its easy to setup and play games without the need to worry to much. It is certainly a well performing system which has much more potential for future games. Remember when the Xbox 360 was released? well compare games from then and now, even though they are running on the same console their have been vast improvements.

PC: Sadly based upon your budget a desktop would be very limited, although it is possible for a budget build that would also involve building your own - otherwise your budget probably wouldn't suit for a pre-built 'gaming PC'.

Laptop: Unfortunately based upon your budget, you would struggle to run modern games on a laptop so I would not recommend.

My overall opinion: I would certainly recommend a PlayStation 4 based upon your budget, I cannot give anymore information because you have only supplied limited information on your interests. With regards to which is most powerful and 'better', certainly a desktop has the most potential however that comes at a cost. I also recommend looking for exclusive games such as 'Uncharted' which is only on the PlayStation as you don't want to purchase a PC and then find out you really wanted to play that game. Along with that take into consideration if you want to play with friends, which platforms do they own?

Hope this helps.

Kind regards,
Joshua

get a ps4 save yourself some money and most pc games will come to ps4 eventually like outlast, h141 dayz replica.

£400 is good enough budget to build a computer that can play all games, but you will need to go amd build fx 6300 will be ideal.
