Hi,

I'm thinking of buying PSVR, do you guys feel it's worth the investment, I was going to wait but seeing the deals on during E3 week end tomorrow, I just wanted to canvas some opinion.

I have a PS4 Pro, but is the VR worth the money, if it is what's the best deal? I've seen the GAME one with Headset, Camera, Eagle Flight, Worlds & Farpoint for £349, but the same - Eagle Flight for £339 with Shopto. Any others worth considering?

Thanks,

Paul

I was skeptical about buying one. I love it, well worth it. If you enjoy movies too there is a cinema mode and you can watch 3D blu rays. And in you can also play non vr games as if you were in a cinema. I havent got motion sickness on the majority of games. Rigs is the one game i couldnt play

Best deal is probably the PlayStation vr with free camera, free PlayStation vr worlds game and free farpoint game

I enjoyed it but felt sick after using it and ended up selling it to cex

If you enjoy HDR through your PS4 pro you are going to have to come up with a workaround as PSVR does not support it.

I enjoyed psvr but sold mine on (and my htc vive too).

Look at skyrim.. listening to what outside extra said it just not going to work with two motion controllers and teleportation.. you'll be fed up in a few minutes.

The aim controller has some great potential for single gun shooters but again, no stock anywhere.

My fave game is still rush of blood but this exposes the screen door effect too. I also struggle with wires!

For me if they did a move controller with an analogue and maybe a second camera for 360 I'd be thrilled.

I'm interested in the answer to this as well, I have a gaming PC so I'm wondering if it's better to just buy a Vive or Occulus as it's going to cost pretty much the same as buying a PS4 + the VR ?

I would buy the vive. Alot more games at the moment

These whacky peripherals get better and better with each generation. But most fall by the way side finding themselves unsupported and outdated. If you want in on the current trend and have the spare cash you're the best person to decide on the value. Don't get disheartened when it gets upgraded for Christmas, or pretty much discontinued by next.

Not a chance it's not selling well and is still over priced. 4 new be games got announced at E3 that should say it all.

I haven't got it and been with Playstation since PS1. To me it looks clunky, loads of wires and limited by no HDR. I watched E3 and jumped for joy when I saw Skyrim but an hour later I was excited as much as the audience at the reveal - lukewarm! I want to try it but know it would become a nuisance

Would recommend the vive over psvr, especially if you've already got a PC with the spec. Worth the extra cost

I bought it for kids at Christmas. Got most of the games now and all I can say is, i love it and kids love it.

psvr is like when you 1st played your 1st video game, its mind blowing.

Nop, VR is not worth it at the moment because the tech is still not here yet and there is no "real" VR game outside RE7 and one or two other games. other VR game sis more techs demo than VR. also VR porn looks like crap at the current resolution of VR device.

TLDR. if you have the disposable income then get it as it offer a exciting new experience in gaming. but dont expect anything more than that. i dont think VR is worth it right now base on the experence, cost and the available media
