Go to a 'proper' running shop and get them to fit you.

If you give a location I'm sure someone will be able to suggest somewhere local to you.

If you have flat weak or collapsed arches, then instead of building them up, we put a support in which astrophys the foot muscle in the arch further. So you will always be consoled to having bad feet with flat arches. However, an alternative is if You could consider looking at something like vibram five fingers trainers which remove all the additional padding etc and get you back to walking on your feet as, nature intended! Coupled with an exercise regime to build up your arches, perhaps you can get back into runni and restore you feet to how they should be?

Just be aware that vibram have backed down on their claims for the benefits of the 5 fingers range.

They were sued for misrepresenting the benefits and have had to make substantial payouts.
