Hi, could anyone find me a cheap price for rainbow six: vegas for the xbox 360. I've found it on play.com for £24.99 and was wondering if anyone can beat that?

Cheers

It seems the best current online price is £24.99, which would mean i would recommend buying it from gameplay.com, who offer it for the price as play.com but they have 11% cashback through Quidco, making it £22.24 after Quidco.

Hope that helps. :)

Empire direct have it for £24.99 http://shop.gameplay.co.uk/ext_shop/productpage.asp?ref=EMPIRE&productcode=XT0106&aid=119
if you make your order up to £30.00 you can use Google checkout to get £10.00 off...

Have you signed into your google account?

it only gives this

Payment Details
Credit or Debit Card
Cheque/Postal Order/Cash/Voucher
Gamepay Cash Card

no google checkout option

Did you sign into google account before you went to Empire?

yes i've tried logging in before as you suggested but to no avail. you can pay through google checkout through empiredirect.co.uk but when you go into games and software it opens a new page and there is no google checkout available

Sorry, cant think of anything else other than contacting them direct tomorrow, anyone else any idea`s ?

doesn't matter, i'll get it through gameplay.com and make use of the 11% quidco. thanks for the help anyway!

Did u use GoogleCheckout on the games section Cuzzy? This section is ran by gameplay through empiredirect so to speak, hence the reason it might not work.

Would be interested to hear if it did though. There would be some real bargains to be had.

Just been looking, it would seem trying to buy any game redirects you to gameplay as you say, can`t see any option to pay by google.:x

Yeah it seems that way. I did a search on the empiredirect site for a few 360 things without being redirected and all it has is a collection of old xbox games at ridiculous prices; £35 etc.

Bit of a bugga really. Will have to stick to the 11% quidco on gameplay.

I'm glad the 11% quidco cashback seems to be the best offer on this like i mentioned earlier and people will take advantage of it.

I attempted to order from Empiredirect before to use the google checkout as well but it wouldn't work on Gameplay orders for 2 reasons:

1. because the order is under £30, so it wouldn't qualify for the £10 discount unless you added some more items.

2. because as people have mentioned, it redirects you to Gameplays site, meaning it's a seperate entity completely, so Empiredirects offers don't apply to Gameplay and vice versa.

Hope that helps resolve some confusion. :thumbsip:

Which is the better choice out of this and Ghost Recon?

I really fancy them both but not sure which to opt for. Any help would be greatly appreciated. (Sorry to hijack the thread but I thought I would reserect it rather than start a new one!)
