Mapin Electronics stores do good offers on charging docs with batteries and rechargables batteries on there own. Around the £3.99 mark depending on the batteries you want of course, much cheaper then the supermarkets. I always got them the mapin first

Any good deals on bundles with batteries and a charger though? Don't fancy buying seperately.

I got a NiMH charger with 6x Energizer 2,500mAh AA batteries from SVP a couple of weeks ago for about £8, which was a bit of a bargain... They're not AA, but perfect for both Wii Remotes and Xbox Controllers :)

Many thanks, they seem kind of expensive though, unless I'm just underestimating the price of batteries :P

I think you are to be fair look at these for maplin

These are bog standard recharge batteries (AA) which I use and £9.99 you got 9 in a pack. You go to your local supermarket and you looking at £5.00 in some places just for two of similar type!

while the AAA you get even more for £9.99 so well worth stocking up before the price changes

Them are single use batteries you will always find them to be cheaper, but if you brought recharge batteries and charger you will find that over the long run it works out cheaper to have recharges then having to standard batteries everytime.

Recharges can be recharge something like 1,000 times or more

Ah I get you, sorry!

Yeah, I think I may go with the rechargables then, maybe something like these Energizer or these Sony ones in that case.

I would recommend you check out this charger.

This charger will recharge most types of recharge batts that you may use, you will never need to buy standed bats again, ok it doesnt come with bats like the sony and etc but from time to time maplin do throw in bats with chargers. I use this charger myself to charge AA,AAA D, C, 9V I have, yes it is dear when you make your first purchase of bats and charges, yet over time this balances out against standards.
