Looking for some rechargeable D cell batteries - probably about 8 of them.
Anyone know the best places online for good batteries at a decent price?

Hi, not got the , D, type batts... But Maplins is a good place to start.. mart
Anyone recommend any other places worth checking?
Bought some tonight in Lidl - They had advertised AAA, AA, (Pack of 4) C & D (Packs of 2) and 9V singles all at £1.99 each. Ratings were pretty good too - AAA where 900, AA 2500 C 4000. Couldn't see and D's but was in a big basket next to some fast chargers they had on sale - I bought all the other sizes and all appear to work fine in my 1hr fast charger too.

Looked in Maplin today - Their latest offer is same size packs as above at £3.99 each - AA's where 2000 but rest are the same from memory

What I use for that sort of thing is these:

It's basically a D-cell shaped case you plonk 2 x AA batteries into. Capacity turns out to be good if you use some decent 2500+mAh batteries into it.

And it means that you can use any old rechargable AA batteries you have lying around.
Found some on Tesco but the delivery charge bumps the price up quite a bit.

Anyone know any others places worth a try?
