Recommendations for DAB hifi under £200

Hope someone might be able to help. I'm looking for a silver (would prefer silver over black) hifi with cd and must have a DAB radio for under £200.00. I'm after something solid as some seem very plasticy and would rather pay a bit more now than have to replace in a couple of years time.

Could anyone recommend a make and possibly outlet/supplier?

Thank you

Onkyo Mini HiFi Systems CR525 (Silver)

You won't get better quality for the price £149.99

http://www.richersounds.com/showproduct.php?cda=showproduct&pid=ONKY-CR525-SIL

Building on the success of Onkyo's award winning 2007 mini hi-fi, the CR525 looks set to continue leading the field.

Key to Onkyo's success in the mini hi-fi market has been the attention to engineering detail. The use of high quality components gives the Onkyo CR525 a realism of sound that approaches separates. With technologies such as Vector Linear Shaping Circuitry, a Wolfson DAC and Wide Range Amplifier Technology, it is little wonder this Onkyo mini system sounds so good.

Contained within the neat and stylish casing you'll find a CD player that's capable of playing MP3 discs, a DAB/FM radio and an R1 interface that will, with the optional Onkyo iPod dock, link up with your iPod. Added to this is front-mounted USB socket that's ideal for media players. In short, although Onkyo have concentrated on sound quality, the CR525 still has all the features you're ever likely to need.

With fine sound quality and a wide range of facilities, the Onkyo CR525 is the perfect mini hi-fi.

Ministry Of Sound do a Slver micro version that is under £200.... (I am looking at one here at the moment) Check out Richer Sounds amongst others...

Also, Sony do a black version that also has you desired spec, again for want of ease check out Tesco Direct....
Thats a couple to start with - but these things are very subjective -insofar as ut depends on realistically what YOU reallywant not others opinions on what you SHOULD have...

Heres a link to the Tesco site - happy to help further if need be buddy.

Thank you for your replies

I was offered one of these (Onkyo) on Saturday from a shop on the High Street for £179.99 - it was covered in dust and had been pre-owned. Needless to say, I wasn't interested.

I'll have a look at the RS website.

Thank you:)

Not guilty of spaming! lol.

I have to say in regards to hi-fi equipment. They are good on prices for what they sell. + they are in my budget margin.
