Hi all

I've been gifted a bean to cup coffee machine for my birthday but no idea where to start. It looks to be a nice machine. Until now, I've been using ground coffee in a cafetiere.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for well-priced coffee beans to get me started. Yes, I tried Google but was somewhat taken aback how much the beans actually cost.

I would really be massively appreciative if anyone knows any good websites as I'd love to make my wife and I a nice cup of coffee at the weekend using our new machine. Thanks in advance for any help - I need it lol.

Tesco currently have bags of Starbucks coffee beans on offer for £2.50. Three or four different strengths/flavours.

Amazon also has a good range of coffee beans if you don't mind waiting a few days for delivery.

I generally wait for offers and go for beans in the £10 / kg range.

Thanks guys.

Is this a good deal (Lavazza Qualita Rossa Coffee Beans, 1kg) for £10.02 or is that not the greatest quality beans?

We bought the 1kg Lavazza beans from Makro, around £6.50, if you are a member.

Thanks guys - some nice recommendations there. Sadly not a member of Makro Traydog but I guess £10 from amazon seems fair enough, esp as I can get it tomorrow with prime. Ok, probably not the best coffee in the world but a good place to start I would've thought?

Bo, for the Rave coffee place, do you have to subscribe or can you get just one order of different beans?

No need to subscribe just order what you need. Use the drop down bar for different amounts and check out with paypal or whatever forms of payment that suits you
