Red laptop

My 8 year old daughter is after a red laptop- not a netbook or notebook- so must be minimum 14" screen.
I have looked at Dell and other sites and cannot decide what to get.She mainly surfs the net, does schoolwork and likes to mess about with word and powerpoint.
Any suggestions please on a cost/performance/cashback basis?
Saw a packard bell on pixmania and according to quidco special cashback coming up tomorrow but wondering if might be outswung by Dell discount codes and quidco?

Yes it seems your 8 year old is leading you a merry dance. Notebooks and Laptops are the same product

By the way, I wouldnt touch a packard bell even with someone elses money. My collegue had one, lasted 12 months + 2 weeks, tried to get warranty and was told to go away.

When we tried to sell it on e-bay there were loads of them, they must have all gone at the same time!

also worth mentioning that unless you have a disc for office, you'll need to buy it or use another prog like open office as none of the current machines come with a full MS office preinstalled. 60 day trial now only.

3 license version with word/powerpoint/excel/one note is usually between 50-100 quid
