Hi HUKD's!

Has anyone cancelled their contract with Sky and then gone on to re-join them within 12 months?
I'm only asking as I am thinking of doing this and I've heard that there are some good deals if you re-join them... Just wondered if anyone could shed some light on what they've been offered?

Cheers!

Give them a ring, see what theyre willing to offer you. You've got nothing to lose.

If you're not happy, tell them... if you're still not happy then simply don't sign up. :)

I cancelled back in November and I keep getting 60% off offers through the post. If you are not getting offers then go to your online account and change your preferences. Mine are set to get postal offers but no texts or phone calls etc.

I left Sky last June. Have had several letters offering discounts from 50%-75% off any package plus 1 offer of £100 bill credit. I just use Freeview and Now tv which suits me fine.

I left & returned 6 or 7 months later. I got 50% off for a year but only if I still had my old equipment. I had chucked the box when I left as it was on it's way out. Bit of a faff but I got there in there end!

Current base offer online is £22 a month for sky-Q with £15 install fee and a free 32" tv or a tablet.
You can always sign up your other halfs name.

Same. They send me a 60% off letter every bloody week!!

My advice would be to go to the website and load up an online chat conversation with one of their operatives. Tell them about your "friends'" 60-70% off deal and see what they can do.

Tried multiple times, over the last week or so, to online chat, but it's always busy. Anyone manage to connect?

I followed the 'left sky in last 12 months' link on my account page last February and resigned up online with all tv (sports, movies, hd) for £25 month for 12 months. Called this Feb to cancel the hd as it was going up, and was told my package contract was not due to change until 2022 (yes, 2022). Woman i spoke to confirmed this twice after checking through my account, so despite being on a 12 month contract the price is fixed until 2022 at £25 (+ hd if i want it). Obviously an error on their part but i'm not complaining

Oh dear loosescrew just hope they ain't pulling the same stunt that the utility companies have pulled in the past.

If they are, they'll just need to sing for their money. As far as their adviser who told me about it was concerned, it was their mistake, if it was a mistake, and she was happy to leave me with it. Before anyone asks, sorry but i didnt catch her name lol
