Hi All

Bit of an odd one but need some help and information.

Having to relocate due to new contract but I need some info off hopefully people from surrounding area.

I am working out of london for next 12 months and so made decision to take family down with me.

Looking at moving to to anywhere between Didcot and Southampton (Not Town itself)

I prefer secluded, quite rural areas. I know it is a big area but I have started to look at places surrounding Newbury, New Forest, Salisbury, Winchester and was hopeing someone might know very quaint rural villages or small towns. Could lead to permanent move in future.

As long I am can get into london within 90 mins I am happy, but a couple of major points are schools as I need as very good Primary school , ideally rated 1 or 2 possibly.

JUst after some very nice locations, lots of open fields and landscape, either commute to motorway of main road into london or even mainline station nearby.

I live in Bicester, Oxon, which is surrounded by cute villages, Aynho, Bucknell, Stratton Audley to name a few & lots of open countryside. Bicester is on the M40 & there is a mainline station into London Marylebone, taking approx 60-65 mins.

There are a number of schools here, I know Southwold & Bure Park primary's are both great schools. Not sure of their rating though.

May or maybe not the area you are looking for
I live in Didcot and we have pretty good schools round here, good shopping with a modern shopping centre with free parking, has a mainline station to London Paddington in less than an hour and even living in the centre of town you are no more than 15 minute walk to open countryside. Notable villages are south/ north morton, little/ long Wittenham, east/ west hagbourne, all within a 10 minute drive of the station.
