Is there anywhere I can get a new screen? How much are they?? Is it easy to replace?

Thanks

I have a plastic housing unit on to protect it from further damage.

Yes it does. Would the insurance not be rather expensive??

Thanks

you tell me... its usually monthly.. most phones are around £5 per month... but iphone maybe more... or should i say probably more....

Phone o2 and just enquire... dont mention the screen... but ask if the screen will be insured also... then do some math and work out if buying the new screen is cheaper or more expensive than insurance for say 12 months... ( as I think the insurance is another contract...)

I wouldn't try changing the screen yourself unless your confident it is very hard and I managed to ruin mine. I have still got the replacement screen which should be ok dunno how much it is worth though! If I break mine again I would just send it off to somebody to replace but would be pricey about a £100 last time I looked

Might not be worth it, with the phone only being worth around £150.

If its only the screen cracked then the replacing it your self might be easier I had to change the battery as well. Heres a link to a replacement dunno if its the cheapest but im sure somebody will let us know.

A mate of mine did exactly the same thing (dropped his i-phone when out).

He just complained to apple saying that it was stupidly easy to break and that it shouldn't have broken like it did, and they replaced it free of charge.

Might be worth tryin.... ;-)

Also a good idea but kind of a fraudulent way.

Not fraudulant at all, thats what you pay your home insurance for (as long as accident insurance is included in policy) :)
