hi all, i bought my son a second hand laptop for xmas, i have a netgear router running from my broadband, i bought him an adapter for his laptop from ebay, but hes broken it :x , cant find the same one on ebay anymore, so i thought i'd look elsewhere as he does'nt want to wait too long (auctions, post from abroad ect)n the one he had was a Dynamode High Speed 54Mbps Wireless USB Adapter, doesnt have to be the same but obviously same spec, any ideas? thank you

Loupomm,

have a look here: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Products.asp?CatID=59&Category=Wireless&ThumbNails=Yes&FilterKeywords=&FilterMinPrice=&FilterMaxPrice=&FilterCategories=90&OrderBy=3

and you can always buy an extension cable so that it can be kept out of the way here: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/ProductInfo.asp?WebProductID=165640

It might also be worth considering a PCMCIA Adapter as here: http://www.scan.co.uk/Products/Products.asp?CatID=59&Category=Wireless&ThumbNails=Yes&FilterKeywords=&FilterMinPrice=&FilterMaxPrice=&FilterCategories=389&OrderBy=3 So long as the laptop has that slot, that way it is inside the laptop and less likely to get damaged. Good luck.
