any particular reason you want a plasma?

there are'nt many 46" plasmas - you might have to switch to LCD get 46"

most common plasma sizes (in this range )are 42" and 50"

Not really high end, being only 720p capable.

You can get a 50" Samsung 1080p plasma for £1649 here:

You can get a JVC or sharp 46" LCD for up to £200 less than that, and I've got to say that Sharp have always been better for LCD IMO.
