Can I return the Tesco unopened version to Sainsburys (using Sains receipt) for a refund? Or do they scan it and will know it doesn't match?

I'm not sure, can anyone confirm?

Which store though? Will Sainsburys/Asda allow me to return an unwrapped item? (Tesco is the hellfighters day 1 version)

It's 9am lol. I preordered on Amazon and just as hyped to get the game I've been waiting months to get, they sent me my Hellfighters code yesterday via email, via the app today said it's left the depot in Birmingham and I am now just waiting for it to come and pop in the disk and jump on the campaign (usually a glorified tutorial but it looks much more interesting this year). Unfortunately in my case they used Royal Mail as the courier who suck and blow simultaneously nowadays so definitely a waiting game. Hopefully the postman doesn't come on 1pm-2pm for reasons every Muslim knows about.

No store will let you return an open copy without good cause it's faulty. Have a little patience and wait for the courier.

Need, or want?

If it's the former; take a break from gaming.

Should of ordered from SimplyGames I got mine Wednesday lol.
But back to your dilemma, just buy it from any store then take the copy you finally get back. The hellfighter should of been e-mailed the code doesn't come in the box, at least mine didn't and neither did my friends.

That's kryptic, what's the reason??

For the game, my pre-order for something else came from Tesco, and it was Royal Mail courier, turned up around midday. It generally depends on where you are on their route!

Why don't you just return the Tesco one to Tesco?

Tesco one is £35, Sainsburys one is £43

Haha :D. My order came at half 11 so had time for a quick play through before 1pm and it's great. I played the campaign so far because UK servers are down and I am enjoying it. Far better campaign than Battlefield 4.

Yes. Done something similar before. Same game, two different places, one was damaged which I think was from Sainsburys which was not local. The other was from Asda, which was local, so I took the damaged one back there and was refunded.
