Salt water swimming pool

Booked to go gran canaria in August and just realised both pools are salt water I know this is common in the canaries but I've never been in ken before neither have the kids? Any thoughts on this matter?

Salt water pools still contain chlorine.
The salt creates chlorine.

salt pools tend to be better on the skin and easier to maintain

and they usually have fewer chemicals in to keep th PH levels right.
