looks like £47pm + £79 up front from EE. they are released on 25 September so Wednesday.

as to colour, it depends on what colour you like surely?

from the article it looks like the phone will be available in the shops on Wednesday so you may not need to pre-order.

Know you've pre-ordered already, don't know where from but, I pre-ordered my Note 3 from BuyMobiles on T-Mobile as they were the cheapest, ie the £27 a month tariff, every where else wanted £300 up front fee, BuyMobiles only wanted £200 - lol only - but they had other offers too which seemed cheaper than other places. They should be getting them in Thursday and customers receiving them Friday :). I'd prefer mine tomorrow but, I spose two more days isn't going to make much difference :p.

Did you get yours usman89? BuyMobiles didn't get them in on Thursday but, yesterday. Received it this morning though and love it :D. My partner keeps asking how it's different to the Note 2 though......:S Not sure how to answer that exactly, other than camera which is great and software which is much more useful and better. The Note 2 was the best phone I'd ever owned so hard to beat but, I think the Note 3 does :). Nice to hold too.

is internet access any faster? i heard that although the screen size is bigger on note 3, it is actually smaller in physical size than the note 2, is that correct?

Did a speed test earlier and was about the same. Sold my Note 2 two weeks ago, to buy this so can't do side by side but, with my Virgin Mobile sim on Speedtest, I used to get about 10Mb download, have the same sim in the Note 3 and was 10Mb as well, did go up to 13Mb on one speed test though! But, generally about the same.

I think, the Note 3, despite the screen being bigger, is the same width as the Note 2 but, slightly thinner and slightly taller. Tried searching for the size and couldn't find both sizes listed, till I remember I wrote a post detailing it haha!

"The Note 3 measures in at 151.2mm tall, 79.2mm across and is just 8.3mm thin and weighs 168g. In comparison, the Galaxy Note 2 is 151mm by 80.5mm and 9.4mm thin and weighs in at 183g." So yes, ever so slightly smaller about from height which is an itsy bit taller. It feels very nice to hold.

I'd been using an iPhone 4 in lieu of the Note 2 which is tiny! Past few days I've been using an iPhone 5 which actually felt quite nice to use and :O I did consider cancelling my Note 3 order as while I initially didn't think the extra 0.5" made a difference, it really does but, I'm glad I didn't cancel the order. It fits my hand like a glove :D.....ok, maybe not quite but, I personally think it's nice to hold, nicer than the Note 2, mostly due to the shape of it and non slippy back (which is good considering my case I ordered hasn't turned up...thankfully the screen protectors did otherwise I'd be banned from touching it at all :|).

    Hi bex85..
I haven't got mine as t mobile texted me yesterday and were apologising for not sending it.
They will send it next week.

But I have had a chance to look at it today at store.

It is very light as compared to note 2.

    Grip is actually awesome.

    Srceen is brighter.

Speed is fantastic and no lagging at all at the moment.

Bit taller than note 2 but doesn't affect much.

i have the note and that has gorilla glass so the note 3 must have likewise. i was very protective of the screen until i saw the youtube video and realised it did not need a screen protector. X)

I'm not allowed to touch unless there's a screen protector (_;) and if my partners paying for it, I can't argue :p lol. No seriously though, we do buy quite a few gadgetey things and then at some point sell them on. For the most part, we get stuff that is in excellent condition, unfortunately not everyone has the same definition. Just this week my partner got an iPhone 5 and specifically asked about scratches on the screen - none, excellent condition.....backs quite scratched, sides are not in great condition and there are some scratches on the front, admittedly not huge but, they are there. Similarly, about 6 weeks after the Note 2 came out, which has gorilla glass, I already had one but, we went to get one for my partner. Lady said it was 2-3 weeks old, had proof too, and of course in excellent condition, traveled about 35mins to get it. Biggest scratch across the screen I've ever seen on a phone :|. Fortunately she wanted £350 for it but, agreed to £300 and we were able to sell it and got like £310 back after fees on eBay, because my partner did not want it.

I'd rather have a screen protector and have not a single tiny little scratch, as opposed to no screen protector and a few scratches, even if tiny. My partner feels the same too but, is perhaps more "forceful" on the screen protector rule. (and the iPhone 5 with a few tiny scratches now has a screen protector fitted to stop any more)

Bad T-Mobile usman89 :(. Yeah it's 0.2mm, hardly noticeable haha. But it is definitely noticeable lighter than the Note 2, I think that's what makes it comfier to hold as well, not just the shape. I thought the screen was awesome, it appeared to be brighter than the Note 2 from recollection but, I didn't know if it was just because I'd been using other phones the past two weeks that aren't as good lol.
