Samsung Galaxy Note value?

My friend's just renewed there contract and has there old Note spare. Being of the fairer sex they've asked me what it's worth. An easy answer except it's suffering from the no charging via USB issue common to 1st gen notes.

When this occurred (out of warranty) I sourced a spare battery (official) and wall charger as this was the easiest solution - so it will obv sell with them too. Otherwise in good condition, perfect screen but usual small scuffs to edge etc.

thanks

I want to guess first gen as they've stated common 1st gen battery issue. But don't know if 2nd gen had the same issue, only ever owned the 3rd.

Sorry, it's not 100% clear. It's a first gen. They had a batch(?) with really weak usb ports - I did advise my friend to try a claim with Samsung for this when it first occurred...

Hi, I am guessing its the N7000. I traded two last week through Mazuma Mobile or £60 each. I could have gotten more, but too he honest I was after a no mess sale. One of the phones was rooted and flashed and they still took it. The second phone has the broken charging port, but I fixed this for under £5 by buying the part on eBay. The fix literally took 4 minutes. Well worth doing, lots of videos on YouTube.

That's may have been true awhile back - too much of a chance it'll go for pennies nowadays.

Yh it's the n7000. I hadn't realised fixing the port was that easy / cheap. When I fixed a N7 2012 port recently a new or used board was £20 plus. Thanks for the info though - I'll have a look at doing it - £5 parts and I'd think they should clear £75 for the phone.

Not in my experience. as long as you make sure the auction ends on Sunday evening, and has run for 5 days to get max number of page views.

also, you can set a £50 reserve, although i realise that eats into the profit.

i guarantee it wont go for pennies.

Game offered me £110 for mine a few weeks back. Ended up selling to a local shop for £130. It was in excellent condition though.

Can't you set a starting price of £50 for free now?
