Hi,

Im looking for a LE32R73BD. The cheapest I found was at dixons using the codes - but today they hiked the price up to £949 so its no longer a good deal. Best I can find so far is RGB Direct £768, maybe get John Lewis to match it and get a 5 year warranty... but just thought id check with the deal savvy here first before persuing that one! :)

Also not interested in Freemans - tried that one already when I bought a smaller set for my gran, they didnt give me the 25% discount even though when they took the order they said they would!!

Yeah, it went up at Currys and Dixons. I can't see it any cheaper than at RGB direct. I think the John Lewis option is a really good idea - that 5 year guarantee is a really good offer - it will sway me towards John Lewis the next time I need a TV.

Yeah shame about Dixons. Wasnt there a deal with Littlewoods where you got 25% off - or has that expired now (first order)?

As littlewoods and Freemans are all in the same group of companies, I don't think this would be a good idea, reading the deal request.

Buy it at Dixons, and use this code 218711WP for an extra £40.99 off giving you a final price of £759 (plus £29.99 postage).

Empire Direct have the Samsung LE32R72BX for £716.99. They also have the LE32R74BDX (Pre-Order) for £799.99 plus £15 delivery. Don't forget your 2% Quidco Cashback too! (About £15)
John Lewis definitely do a price match with these guys.

RGB direct charge £100 postage!!!!

EDIT: Oops! Just noticed the Dixons price hike! ED is your best bet then!

Thanks... you can get free postage within 14 days from RGB - but yea £25 for anything quicker. But JL might match it based on the free delivery price... trouble is id have to go to the store and ask i spose, or phone up.

You can phone, email or go to the store. The retailer to be matched MUST have a shop and the TV must be in stock and the price displayed.
Different people have had different successes from varying JL stores.
You don't have to use YOUR local store. You can use a store near the place to be price matched and have the TV delivered to your local store.

There is a wealth of knowledge at AVForums.
