Ok, so i'm actually fuming right now typing this, bare with me. So I received the Note 7 on release and loving it then few days later as you know they issued a recall. I then took the phone to Carphone Warehouse as instructed by Samsung last Monday, to my surprise they said i'd have a replacement on Wednesday, (of course this didnt happen) I was then told replacement will start to be sent FROM 19th Sept and they are issuing all users with £50 'goodwill' gesture for the trouble. Today i was passing a Carphone Warehouse so i thought id pop in to see if they had an update. OMG 21st October they told me, the is unbelievable I asked to cancel the replacement immediately as for all I knew it could be a lot longer than this. I also chased my £50 credit, they explained i wouldnt be eligible as I dont want a replacement. Obviously my contract has increased as I upgraded from a Note 3 and i'm being left out of pocket. I have no where to turn to :( any thought or suggestions would be appreciated.
