Merry Christmas all, apologies in advance for my drunk post .

We have been thinking of upgrading the tv for a while and since we moved, the tv in bedroom is 40 inches but it's now a good few metres further away. Anyway I'm thinking I'll get a Samsung 65 inch one, ideally from richer sounds for six year warranty or John Lewis who I've had decent customer service from in past. I keep waiting for the price to drop but hasn't so far, what are people's thoughts on curries customer service if it comes to it as the 65ks8000 isn't available online at richer sounds (think ideally I'd like that one, gut would appreciate people's thoughts?) , and the 65ks7000 isn't available at all. Anyway curries are giving you a blu ray player with that model 8000 right now but not sure they would price match if it dropped with that included in any case.
I've never priced match before anyway so not entirely sure how it works.

Any advice or comment on that tv or similar for around £1500 appreciated.

Again sorry for being drunk and anyone think the price will drop if I wait a few days?

When spending that kind of money i'd buy from John Lewis first of all, Richersounds as backup and if not available at either of those i'd look at a different model. If something goes wrong Currys will just keep wasting your time whereas John Lewis will just replace it straight away.

Put a price match in and see what they say.

It's not just a blu ray player it's uhd and 3 free uhd films rrp £299 so a good freebie ,there's plenty of rs branches about and 3% quidco as well, bang for buck the 65ks8000 at £1900 can't be beaten imo

Oled

As far as I'm aware 65" OLEDs start at a good thousand pounds over budget.

Sony's XD93 is probably the strongest competitor to the KS8000 at £1800-1900 for the 65" model.
