Hi All,

I would appreciate some help trying to decide on a new a Samsung TV.

I am looking at 3 models on Richers sounds website, but there doesn't seem to be too much difference between them, when comparing the spec sheets.

UE40KU6400 - £449

UE40KU6020 - £369

UE40KU6000 - £349

Aside from the PQI difference - 1500/130/1300, what am I missing?

Do any have Bluetooth?

Many Thanks

First of all be very carefull buying from richer sounds. Once you open the box and for example find it's not right for you i.e. Motion blur or upscaling Issues and return it unless faulty they want a 15% restocking fee as for pqi this is a measurement unique to Samsung from what I can decipher from the model I mention below it's equal to about 100hz. Out of the above mentioned sets I would personally choose the UE40KU6400 as it is a 4K HDR set but more importantly has a 10 bit panel that will deliver better picture quality and colour. Best of luck.

Possibly the most helpful generalisation would be that if 4k is a pre-requisite, 40" is simply too small to offer any worthwhile resolution benefit over FHD in the vast majority of domestic TV viewing distance instances.

The 6020 is a variation of the 6000 but I'm not quite sure what the difference is. I'd only expect them to differ in features going by Samsungs usual naming convention.

The 6400 is the next model up and the most significant improvement it adds is a wider colour space (90% DCI). Essentially partial HDR support so only useful if you're going to be watching any HDR content on it. Expect smaller general improvements like better audio too.

You need to specify which functionality you're after. A TV can have bluetooth keyboard support without supporting bluetooth audio.

Yeah, don't discount the Full HD K6300. I personally found I preferred the picture quality of that over the KU6000 when saw them side by side.

I'm pretty sure the 6020 has Bluetooth and the 6000 doesn't and that's the only difference between these two

Do you have any evidence of that? Samsung's website lists both as N/A for bluetooth support:

don't buy Samsung they overheat and you get black lines running down the screen. go to a large Curry's and see the display model. go for Sony or Panasonic (4k only for Panasonic)
