Samsung ue50h6200 Help

Just bought this tv. Samsung ue50h6200. Not impressed so far. It started auto dimming till i changed the picture mode from Standard to Natural, that seems to have gotten rid of the annoying auto dimming. I'm watching the England and Italy match on it from my SkyHD box, the pitch looks very rich bright green and blury and there is motion blur all over the place. Can anyone recommend any settings to try out before i send it back. Thanks.

Just tried football mode but that hasen't made much difference either.

Hi, try the settings below which may help. I bought the 39inch version and had lots of problems getting the picture settings right. A good search on the Web will do it.

Colour Space: Custom

Red Green Blue

Red 50 0 0
Green 38 50 0
Blue 0 15 52
Yellow 51 50 0
Cyan 0 56 56
Magneta 49 0 60

White Balance

R-Offset: 27

G-Offset: 22

B-Offset: 21

R-Gain: 15

G-Gain: 25

B-Gain: 26

I returned the TV in the end, simply to get the free Tesco warranty which they announced days after me buying it but decided to pay extra for the smart version, which I noticed had a significantly better picture, especially on the SD channels.

The autodimming is most likely not to do with the picture mode but the eco settings.
There is a setting somewhere to stop doing that - I think it's something like eco or power save

In terms of the green etc, you'll have to go through the individual settings to mess about with colour, saturation, brightness, contrast etc as it will all be default at the moment
