Looking to buy my wife a Sat Nav unit. Budget £100-£140. Anyone seen any good deals? Unfortunately, I missed the offer at Asda for the Garmin Nuvi 300. Our local store had sold out.
We haven't owned one before but Garmin and Tom Tom seem to get plenty of good review.
Thanks for any imput you can offer.

Thanks Dandoc - I'll check it out. I notice that the deals section has an offer for an XL version at £180. Would you say the extra screen size is worth it?

Practically the big screen makes no difference to the navigation itself, it does come with some extra features, however these can be downloaded separately to the cheaper Tom Tom one.

Save yourself £30 and go with the £150 model.

hi i would recommned getting the tomtom on mobile phone, all you do is get the gps receiver and it works very well

I have spare one going if you want one. WORKS EXTREMELY WELL
i use one on nokia 6600

this is a better more compact and cheaper alternative. let e know what you think

I know this is not really a supplier/store as such....but I got the Garmin 300T which comes with the FM ariel for traffic advice- speed camera trial for 90 days for £150 + £10 p+p from someone on Ebay. Brand new of course.

That's cheaper than anywhere else I've seen and an excellent model. It was delivered really quickly as well.
