I'm with orange. Don't want to pay if possible, but if necessary I will, better than getting lost as usual!

I bought the Ndrive app last week (£9.99) after seeing it posted on hotdeals and have found it a great buy. Not a tomtom but as near as and for a fraction of the price. I have used it a few times for my work and it has never let me down, here is a link to a review http://www.tracyandmatt.co.uk/blogs/index.php/ndrive-satnav-for-iphone-review
