Sata 2.5" 200gb

Hi all i am looking to upgrade my hdd from an 80gb to a 200gb as that is what toshiba said is the largest i can put in it.Don't no if that is trrue or not the 200gb seem to be more expensive than the 320gb so thats a bit gutting the laptop is a toshiba a100-027 equium thanks for the help.

200GB is a size usual for 7200rpm drives instead of the usual 5400rpm like the 320GB is likely to be so that may explain the different in price. 160GB and 250GB are common 5400rpm sizes so maybe look at those.

Did toshiba say what would happen if you used a bigger drive? If it just cuts off at the 200GB mark it may be worth going for the 250GB one over a 160GB one.

Yeah i thought that think i will go with a 250 one thanks mate would you go with the 5400 or 7200 mate.
