Scientific and Mathematic Postors and others??

Ok this is a strange request...I'll admit...

My son has changed bedrooms and is having the smallest room.

We painted it yellow for my littlest but Im sure he would prefer something else...

He loves all things scientific and mathematical...(brainy git)

So thought I could either paint his room or cover the walls in interesting postors...

I thought of the periodic table, world map, solar system...etc

Any ideas where the best place to get nice ones from
or failing that download free and take to my local printers to get in a nice postor size.

He turned down my firefighters calender already so no suggestions in that direction lol

I had a huge wall postor as a kids of horses in a stable...wonder if theres anything that would suit him in that...

Suggestions gratefully recieved...

Cost is an issue as have to replace a bed already and a tv....so prefer as cheap as chips lol

Thanx all you HotUkDeal watchers out there...

I love him to death...and I can assure you he calls me just as bad,

I was also a teachers pet at school (wouldnt know it now tho) and a swot!

We had a parents/teacher meeting at his school and I said quietly to my son that all music teachers in my days looked like geeks....commenting on how things have changed.

So on shaking the music teachers hand and introducing myself, my son told his teacher that I thought he looked like a GEEK!!

I LOVE HIM SOOOOOO MUCH!!

kids who would ever have them....except the crazy among us....thats why I have 3!!!

Cheers for all the help people....I'll check out the links and keep eyes out in the papers...I found some last nite with DNA, Animal cells etc but at £10 a shot was a little more than I wanted to spend..

Ask in bookstores as they sometimes give away there promo posters when they are finished with them, and they can be huge.

Yep. good plan. Morrisons once gave us their giant cardboard "Thunderbird 2" DVD didplay stand!! Looked so impressive in the house.

Thanx for everyones input!

I managed to find a few on ebay from the guardian and Independant...
We also downloaded a few other tables that are useful and interesting.

Im going to wallpaper the bedroom with the basic posters and then add the more useful ones on the top...

Just hope he doesnt stay up all nite reading now!

My wife does home tutoring and we get educational posters along exactly the lines you'd like :) Generally 60x40cm for £1.50 each. Hope that helps.

What about painting part of one of his walls with blackboard paint or magnetic paint so he can add his own facts etc? My Dad papered one wall in the house with ordnance survey maps of our local area & we loved it as kids - still do really, cos you can see all the local paths for exploring..
Incidentally mikewot - where does your wife get the posters from - they seem very cheap - wouldn't mind a few like that for my kids..
