I have just purchased Dragon NaturallySpeaking and was wondering if there is any way that I can script save as command in Microsoft Word. I don't really know a lot about scripts, however, I have created a command using a script so I can automatically insert today's date and wondering if I could do something similar to save a document with one command.

What I want to be able to do is once I have finished typing my document, to say one command that will allow Microsoft work to automatically save the document in the right folder and name it correctly.

The file name structure would be something as follows 16.09.26 - (name to be taken from text in document).

Does anyone know if it is possible to do this, and if so where I may be able to get help.

Thanks

Certainly possible, but it's a long time since I did scripts in Word, but plenty of articles on Word forums to do things like this.

Have a read of this one,

Looks way to complicated for me.

Thanks though.
