I'm looking to buy a mobile (want a spare 1) s if your thinking of selling any let m know.

According to my experience, selling on eBay will make approximately 40% more than selling at any of those recycling companies.

I’m actually trying to avoid eBay because of all the surcharges (along with PayPal) they charge. To be honest, because most of my phones are pretty much in new, boxed, complete condition, it does seem kind of a waste to send to a re-cycle place. I’ve actually tried selling a few here on HUKD a while back, but I always seem to get offered very low prices. For example, here are a few phones I have which I was looking to send away to those phone re-cycle sites:

T-Mobile MDA compact 2 (Brand New)
Sony Ericsson K800i James Bond Edition (Brand New)
Sony Ericsson T610i (Brand New)
Samsung T100 (As New)
Nokia 3100 (As New)
Motorola V50 (Brand New)
Motorola MPX 200 (As New)
Motorola T720i (Brand New)
Sharp GX30i (Brand New)

That’s pretty much the phones I have plus a few others I just can’t think of. But half of those phones are only worth about £1 on those re-cycle sites and I know some of the phones are ‘old’ models, but it just seems to be a waste sending to them. Can someone give me some more advise on the current prices of the above phones are worth if I was to sell them.

I would sell the K800i to CEXyou will get a better price depanding on locked or unlocked and if its boxed etc and has new grade it a 'A' or sell it in your local paper between £40 to £50

Have you tried CEX for any of them? They give you prices on their site (you get more for them being in the condition you described) and you can squeeze more out of them if you part exchange.
#14
Have been trying in CEX for the last 2 weeks but they always seem to have no cash to buy (which is understandable at this current time) and I'm not sure about sending all the phones to the the CEX web address (the P&P will end up costing more then the phones!!)

I car booted two old ones of mine in working condition and made 50 quid! sold in the first five minutes, dealers on the lookout to sell on. Hope this helps
#17
If any of them are on the 3 network I'll buy one.
#18
Hi what network is the k800i on? I would make an offer for that and the t-mobile mda of £50 for both?
#19
i use moneysaving expert as you can compare all these companies through a checker which is handy, also gives best prices on non working phones too:thumbsup:
