Its a shame there isn't some kind of way to send letters electronically.. that would be amazing...
Anyway perhaps you could email them a couple of weeks after posting to confirm the received it?
Sorry couldn't help it! I actually have no idea.

he did give you a suggestion of how to get some sort of confirmation.

to be fair its a sarcastic reply but has merit. I would post the letter but also email it in pdf format and ask for receipt of the PDF by email. also ask for receip of the hard copy letter by email to the same email address.

It wasn't a reply to me. I was matching the level of sarcasm.

They are of a legal nature, I found royal mail dont track international mail beyond uk, and the 'signed for' you also get no proof, they just say it is only handed over if signed for but you get no notification or proof this end or copy signature. At 6x the cost of standard non signed/tracked postage internationally, I went for standard royal mail international and will see who responds if they dont will resend and/or email, I had a lot to send so it saved £100's will see what happens. Currently not emailing due to the formal nature of the correspondance and the fact legally writing in hard copy is industry standard. Thanks for the help
