Audio is here according to this image for the similar model on ebay though it may be an audio in

http://i.gyazo.com/2f8d5d954989306189ff65a841ef6e5b.png

Cant find you model number that soundbar please recheck the number

EDIT OK found it manual here http://www.goodmans.co.uk/support/downloads/Goodmans%20Technical%20Bulletin%20-%20Sound%20Bar.pdf

Looks like given your limited connections on the TV you might try the Analog audio red/white connections and the speker will need setting to accept that input

If the above doesn't work, you might need to try a headphone to phone cable. They can be picked up for a couple of quid.

Helped a family member out with this yesterday, use the black cable supplied in the box,

Plug one end into your tv headphone socket

Plug the other end into soundbar line in socket.

You may have to alter the audio settings in the tv menu.

thinking of buying new tv as seems so much hassle if this don't work looking at a cheap 40 inch from tesco or sainsburys anybody know if one of them would Deffo work with the sound bar?

Does you TV have audio out ?
I just bought the same model from Tesco yesterday and it works great .I'm using mine connected by Blue Tooth to my Archos tablet.
The sound bar is used just like any other extension speaker system ,It will plug into a laptop, pc or any other device that has an audio output. The soundbar comes supplied with 2 leads ,phono to phono and 3.5mm to 3.5mm. The 3.5mm will connect to mp3 , walkmans , radio's etc or anything with a earphone type socket outlet . The phonos connect to the backs of DVD players ,Sky boxes ,etc or anything that has audio out .

Any newer TV with bluetooth.AV out, optical out or a HDMI connection as listed in the manual above will work so just about any model will be covered by those connections

She only has a TV to connect sound bar to and a TiVo box which as far as I can see has no connections to add soundbar to it . And TV doesn't have Bluetooth as few years old

If you using a TiVo box with the HDMI connected to a TV there is a scart socket on the back of the TiVo box that can be used as an output for the soundbar .A scart socket carries audio/video signals ,just buy a scart to audio output from the likes of Maplin.

heres one :
http://www.maplin.co.uk/p/nikkai-connect-scart-to-3-phono-plugs-with-inout-switch-3m-l00bb

or even one of these:

Looks OK for the price mind its not a smart TV so no Netflix etc unless you use a dongle like the Chromecast. As for connection the HDMI cable with do as it doesnt seem to have an optical out port.
Your present TVs audio port appears to be audio in [from a PC] so as I said you would need to use the white/yellow audio connections to get the speakers to work and there may be a setting in the screen menu to select external speakers.
