I would say that's an input problem. Does it shimmer if you take out all sources and just bring up the menu?

What MIDURIX said. Also, is the input VGA? If so it looks a lot like the cable is picking up interference - is it touching a power cable?.

Yeah, vga is analogue not digital so the quality of cable, interference etc all play in it.

The shimmering is there without any inputs attached, and VGA is rock solid
