Just bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 from Vodafone and done a speed test on my phone using mobile data and got shocking results.

Ping - 625ms
Download - 0.04Mbps
Upload - 0.02Mbps

Is there any way to improve these speeds?

yeah, isn't 0.04mbps the same as 40kb, which is slower than dial up? or maybe my math is out the window

besides, thats the beauty of PAYG phones. Unlock and put in the SIM you want :)

But how may people are using the same cell tower? That's the factor that has the most impact...

Try EE, 3 bar signal and get 60meg, only ever had full signal once and that was at the hospital got 130mbps

My mistake, i was thinking of 0.40mbps and 0.20mbps :D

I get 5mb on Three at home but in the local town centre I get 15mb but using the free EE sim card posted with 100gb of 4g data I get 16mb at home. Goes to show!
