Should I get PS Vita now or wait?

The obvious answer might be to wait, but I didn't see that much deals for PS Vita on Black Friday, so I'm kinda worried that there might not be reductions in the next coming weeks.

Were there any Christmas/Boxing Day/January sale deals for Vita last year? Were they significant?

Amazon has one for £140 but I have a £10 voucher so it's down to £130. I saw a deal a few days ago worth £119 with the 16GB and some games, but Vita deals are so scarce.

There is a deal on Amazon at the moment for the PS vita + 8GB memory card and codes to download 10 games for £149.99, not sure it would get any better than that. I know there are new bundles coming out on 22nd December (Very.co.uk) also at £149.99 but a bit risky if needing for Xmas (unless you celebrate parcel swapping on "old Christmas Day")

You can get the vita, lego game pack and minecraft from argos all for £139.99. Add all 3 individual items to basket and it will be reduced.

Yes but:
1) Should I wait for the price to go down?
2) Will it even go down at all (the main reason I am asking this question. It's why I'm asking if there were significant price drops for Vita last year)

personally I would go for it. the console on its own is £139.99. You are getting 6 lego games with an 8gb card and the minecraft game for nothing technically.
That's just my opinion though :)

I want it so badly but a few savings would be nice.

I've heard people say go for 16GB instead of 8GB, which is why I was a bit gutted when I missed out on the £120 one with 16GB and 10 games. I've got lots of Vita games due to Plus. I'm not sure if those games, combined with the bundled games, will fit in 8GB.

yeah that's something I am wary of as well. do u have to buy specific PS vita memory cards or are they just standard memory cards?

I am new to the playstation thing :D

Memory is a HUGE deal with having a psvita, i used to have one and i had 2 16gb cards just to hold the free games you get every month from PSN, 8gb just isnt enough and when bought with the lego games as a bundle theres no room left on the memory card after installing all available games, no matter if you get 8gb or 16gb trust me you will have to buy more memory eventually.

How many games can normally fit in a 16GB card? Doesn't the slim have an internal memory?

well the lego games bundle with 8gb card leaves very little space left for anything else, so you will have to buy another card straight away almost to download the free games from psn, memory was a the only pain i had with the psvita, dont let this put you off one though its a fantastic machine, games differ on size,

I can live with just having Binding of Isaac on Vita haha... but a 16GB card is definitely a good thing to have.

Binding of Isaac and Remote play are the two main reasons I want the Vita

It was free on PS+ last month. The game's good fun! Quite hard, but that's what makes it so great! I'd be content to have that game as my only one on Vita.

I've got some games from PS+ as well so I'll have about 10 games ready. Hope it will all fit in a 16GB card.
