Silver DS Lite (or white, or black, I'm not that fussed really)

Not really that fussed on bundles (already got quite a few games - it's just that my current white DS Lite has a funny shoulder button) and would prefer online if possible. Thank you Read More

Virgin do it with any game for £100. Or trade in your old one at Game for a silver one, for £65.

Many thanks for that, the Virgin offer is good, is that instore only though? I can't find anything about that deal online.

I've managed to fix my DS Lite now, so whilst the Game offer is incredibly tempting (and hassle free!) I think a DS Lite is probably worth more than £35 boxed :o

Overly optimistic, but do you mean I'd have to pay £65 or £35 at Game?! :)

I think he means you will get £35 trade in value for your DS in Game as cannot see them giving you £65 as you get ripped off on trade in's at Game.

You could always sell it on ebay and put the money towards a new DS even though it's a bit more hassle than just giving it into the shop but its well worth more than £35

Ahh thought that'd be the case, thank you. Only problem is, after Ebay fees and the hassle I'm not sure what the best thing to do is, I'm also still not 100% convinced that my DS is going to stay working, and would feel awful if I sold it on Ebay and it broke shortly after :(

Although saying that, say I assume I sell it as semi broken, I'll get say £35 for it anyway, then I can buy the one from DS (is the offer online please guys? I live no where near a Virgin store so instore isn't an option) and maybe sell the game I get with it for another £20, so maybe it would be worth the hassle of going the Ebay route.

I've got £45~ of Game points accumulated over bloody ages though, so I figured this'd be a good chance to use them, but not if I'm going to lose out big style and have to pay £65 straight off for an upgrade to a silver one! :o

Wait up, Game actually do offer £60 for a used DS Lite, which would mean I only have to pay £40 (or less assuming that the deal Dude1971 was talking about) which would be sweet!
