We are off on a trip around Europe for 6 weeks, we have an outward ferry booked from Dover - Dunkerque
However we have yet to find a return ferry which is cheap enough, as the ferry companies ask a premium for single tickets plus we shall be returning peak season (11th Aug).
We would prefer to leave from the more western ports rather than travel to calais to save on travelling time.
Looked at Brittany and they seem super expensive especially for single crossings.
They do however offer a £65 return trip from UK - France (1 Day) but I am dubious if I could just use the return ticket for that price - does anyone have any experience of them charging you extra at the port?
Next best is Transmanche (Dieppe - Newhaven) then Eurotunnel.
Time in the day is not too much of a bother but if anyone knows any loop holes, discount codes or whatever to get a cheap journey from France to UK for this time it would be much appreciated :)
Thanks in anticipation
