Sorry about bugging you again about this, i already have sky in my front room, and want to get multiroom, with a sky + box in my bedroom.

Firstly, do i have to have a phone line in my bedroom, and will there have to be drilling and stuff like this, or is it simple?

Please...Someone must have this!
yes you will have to have a phone line. it is part of the sky terms and conditions to do so. A friend at work had problems when both boxes were not plugged into phone sockets - he got a letter from sky saying one of the boxes was not 'showing up' when they 'dialed into' his box overnight one day. He had to re plug it in or get disconnected by sky!!! - only sky can pair up your viewing cards to sky/sky plus boxes - this is so the general public cannot get around the system.

Correct me if I'm wrong, anyone?
You can get out of having the sky box connected to a phone line for a one off £25 fee. I done this as BT wanted me to pay £125 to connect my line but decided not to as I am only renting for a few months while I wait for my new house. £25 to sky did the trick.
So if i don't have a phone line in the room where i want the sky + box, i can ask and they will let me pay 25 quid instead of getting one installed?
