well i think i got the bargain of a lifetime.
In carlisle last monday i got one for £49 plus free installation

the same box that morning was £149 plus £30 installation from quoted on the phone from sky.

Now this is daft i know but sky were promoting them in the town centre, as we are going over from analogue tv to digital tv very soon and they are pushing the boxes. Whats more its sky who are doing the fitting as well.

so there are bargains out there. so if your area is soon going to be fully digital wait a bit longer and get one less than £50.:santa: :whistling: :santa:

This is the deal that sky give you if you call up to cancel.
These boxes are usually refurbished and come with a 3 month subscription.

Plenty for sale at that well known Auction site..

If you can install it yourself then Satbuyer.co.uk is recommended on an AV forum I sometimes use.

£145 for sky+ v3 Pace digibox, £220 for the HD box.

I signed up for this special offer a couple of months ago when they where promoting it in our town centre.

long story cut short.... I ended up with an old refurbished PVR2 box that would'nt support the new Sky Anytime feature, so asked for it to be removed and signed up on another offer.

Depends what your happy with at the end of the day.

no it was a brand new sky+ box, also they fitted a new extra aerial lead from the dish. went into carlisle today the boxes are now free. so if your area is changing from analogue to digital hang fire because there are free boxes out there now with free fitting

sky + requires 2 leads coming from the dish. As far as I know.

the free boxes are they just sky+ or normal Sky box?
